Asking if the soul and the subconscious are the same thing, to me, is kind of like asking if apples and oranges are the same thing. Well, yes and no. They are both fruit, but different from each other. I think the subconscious resides in the soul, the seat of our thoughts and emotions. The soul is what some people would call the heart of you. The subconscious, on the other hand, is what controls our unconscious thoughts and actions. I do think the spirit and the soul are different, too. I believe that the spirit is the essence of who you are. So you are a spirit who has a soul and lives in a body.
