No. The soul is the Spirit or the Divinity within the body. The subconscious is a functional part of the mind. The term subconscious was coined by Pierre Janet. They are often used interchangeably but with one difference. The scientific community tries to eliminate the spiritual concept or God, so they will say the subconscious does have limitations. But in religion, the soul or the Divine has no limitations. So in that sense, they cannot be referring to the same thing.
